Southern Cross Travel Insurance appoints new Chief Underwriting Officer

Laurence brings a wealth of international experience to the role, having most recently served as Chief Insurance Officer at Laka, where he was instrumental in developing and scaling an award-winning insurance model across the UK and Europe. His deep expertise in the Lloyd’s and London markets, combined with a strong background in international expansion, product innovation, and regulatory leadership, makes him a strategic addition to SCTI’s executive team.

Known for his commitment to mentoring high-performing teams, Laurence is well-positioned to lead SCTI’s underwriting strategy into its next phase of growth across New Zealand and Australia.
