About the Role:
We are looking for an immediately (or close to it) available proactive and experienced Company Accountant to take ownership of end-to-end accounting responsibilities for a successful and stable business.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for all financial operations including but not limited to:
Some of your tasks will include:
- Managing daily bank reconciliations
- Month-end close processes
- Preparing weekly cashflow reporting
- Managing accounts receivable and credit control
- Processing accounts payable
- Running a small weekly payroll
- Preparing and filing GST and other tax returns
This is a busy role, that will see you juggling multiple daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. You will be working in a quiet and pleasant office environment as part of a small office team.
Hours for this role are 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with parking provided.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role, will have previous experience working in a similar end to end role with the ability to work with both accuracy and at pace. You will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and confident managing the full accounting function.
With solid accounting skills and the ability to work autonomously, you’ll ensure smooth financial processes and be able to provide reliable insights to support the business.
Previous experience working with MYOB is required for this role, along with good Excel skills.
This is an immediate start, Fixed Term role for 6 months and for the right candidate there could be an opportunity for this role to become permanent.
